I have no idea. But from what I've seen, messages get blocked out all over the place, whether it's relevant info or trivial. Spaces, punctuation, etc.

The fact that your messages only have all the words neatly blocked suggests to me that it was done deliberately by the sender.

At first, I thought it was simply because I couldn't read, but then when I got a similar one with the punctuation, and no one in our little group who received a similar letter from the removed for comparison...

Well, I didn't pursue it for a reason.

Pretty sure someone might just be messing with you, then. There's no rule saying that the removed have to use their messages to help you, after all.
