When I asked Brother Goat about it, he wasn't sure that splintering was necessarily the case, but... with her memories fading, what else could it have been? She lost everything so quickly, and her hands... It was like she was already being removed from the Realm. She couldn't even interact with parts of it. It had to mean she was "unstable".
I had thought that her losses were large, even before... She was one of the first that I spoke with who lost her name.

...Perhaps it is only because she is so young. [ not... not that many memories to lose. which is heartbreaking. ] But even so, she was acting strangely before. I thought someone might have simply cursed her.
But for it to onset that quickly, and that severely... just how many differences in these cases can there possibly be? I have dealt with infections plenty in my own life, and... at least there were signs, when it came, and some sense of consistency.
