once there, he'll spot rabbit sitting down at the river like they were before. when they see chiron, they wave. ]

Chances are, everyone's going to seem smol to Chiron, but how small is the Rabbit?

Either way he's going to lean down some, an arm held behind his back]

[ they are like four feet taller than him actually

I don't have any current objections, no.

[Hmmm]

Truthfully, I just wanted the opportunity to meet you and measure the type of person you are.

[retellers]

[ it would be really funny if it were true.

but they just nod their head at that. ]

Oh, okay. How... are we going to measure that?

[antaressnipe]

You need only tell me about yourself.

Assuming that you can remember...?

[retellers]

I don't really know that much about myself, except for things we kind of figured out...? Ah, like it's easy to find out what kind of food or drinks we like.

[ since all you have to do is try it. ]

But I couldn't tell you anything about where I'm from.

[antaressnipe]

Does it bother you that you can't remember?

[retellers]

[ they're quiet at first, and when they answer, their voice is soft. ]

It's... kind of scary. But it was for something good, so it's okay.

[antaressnipe]

[... His neutral gaze softens slightly]

There are quite a few of us who would see your memories returned as well, as payment for your goodwill.

[retellers]

[ they bow politely. ]

Thank you. And we're going to do our best to make sure you get out of here as soon as possible.

[antaressnipe]

Speaking of that, have you managed to make any headway?

[retellers]

Something is coming up this week, at least. Sooner than later, I think...

[ they smile ]

But once it happens, I think we're going to know a lot more about how this all works. I know that waiting and seeing isn't really that great, but it's like... mm, once we have that first contact, we'll have a much clearer idea of how to track down the different processes of receiving it.

[antaressnipe]

I cannot speak for everyone, but to me, waiting is a necessary evil in order to come to a satisfactory conclusion.

But since we can expect something soon, I'm sure it will lift everyone's spirits.

[retellers]

Once the opportunity arrives, we'll immediately be alerted on our own PHS.

[ they take theirs out of their cloak.]

We can sense it because of our connection to the Realm, but these are more... um, accurate? I guess because it's technology.

[antaressnipe]

... I admit, this type of technology escapes me, though I can use it well enough.

[Ye olde]

So the device can measure the changes happening in the Realm?

[retellers]

Mmhm. Even though the six of us are connected to the Realm now, we're not perfect. We still make mistakes based on our judgments and opinions, so something like the PHS is there to keep us on track.

[antaressnipe]

And all six of you are united, correct? Everyone wants to restore this Realm to its proper functions.

[retellers]

We're... united on that, at least. There are a lot of things we don't agree on, but that doesn't really have to do with what we're doing here.

[ it's just an unfortunate personality clash. ]

[antaressnipe]

Ah, yes. I can only imagine.

[Just thinking about the group the Realm stitched together on behalf of the entire universe. It's fine... surely it's fine]

Another question, if you do not mind indulging me: was there any methodology for how we were split into groups? Personal temperament? Or did you just lay claim to whoever you wished to be on your team?

[retellers]

[ they shake their head. ]

You were just assigned to us. We each have a PHS as well, and the list of who's on our team were on it. There might have been a method involved in the assignments though, but all I can really do is guess.

[antaressnipe]

So it's more likely the Realm assigned us.

[Maybe. Who knows. Chiron is still figuring out the rules here]

... I hadn't expected to be brought back with a purpose so quickly, but given what's at stake, I'll act as you dictate.

[retellers]

[ they nod

and then pause. ]
