I made a mess of things in the trial.

[ the poison. the poison specifically made to kill mob. mob's poison. that poison. ]

[retellers]

Oh, yeah. You did.

[ like. he did? but. ]

But I'm sure that if someone else checked that body, they would have had everyone do the same thing. You were just unlucky enough to be the person.

[cuedoves]

[ and that's why we always use gloves when touching corpses!! he still looks guilty, but. ]

I just wish we got some answers out of it, instead of just... this.

[ vague gestures at himself. ]

I don't even know if he was splintering because of Yona, or... something else.

[retellers]

... if he was splintering because of Yona, then the Leader who noticed this week should probably be able to answer that. So we'd probably get an answer sooner rather than later if that's the case.

[ depending on if they share! ]

[cuedoves]

I'll ask. But I know we're getting close to our deadline, so... are two people splintering at the same time... is that on the table? Is it getting worse?

I still don't... I don't understand what happened to Hikaru.

[retellers]

There is really nothing indicating that things are getting worse.

[cuedoves]

That's what I'm hearing... and it kind of feels like it is.

[ but he had a pretty shitty week ]

Well, you're all now rushing to do last minute kills in two weeks. Of course it's going to get messy.

But like, actual nova-wise? It's not worse. You all just have depression and more trauma now.

[cuedoves]

[ laughs weekly. ]

Yeah. That sounds about right.

But I'm glad the Realm isn't falling apart... more. We're... doing okay with nova?

[retellers]

[ she nods. ]

So far so good.

[cuedoves]

Well, at least everything isn't completely terrible, even though I'm probably dying of poison.

[ so deadpan. but he is actually kind of relieved that they're okay novawise? ]

What did you remember?

[retellers]

There are worse ways to die, so cheer up.

[ she nods... ]

If a team loses all their members, then it won't matter if they already got the two kills. The Leader will loser their status as one, which means the team will disband.

[cuedoves]

.... Oh. Right. Sorry.

[ he's going to shut now!! about the poison. his eyes do widen a little bit ]

We can't let that happen. I know we're probably safe... but.....

[ the other teams ]

[retellers]

I know that some other ones are pretty down to the wire, yeah.

[cuedoves]

I know Fox and Goat are badly off, but.... did you hear about any other teams?

[retellers]

... you'll have to ask around about that one, since I can't really out numbers for other teams, even in a vague sense.

But it probably wouldn't be hard to figure out.

[cuedoves]

Yeah, I'm planning on it. [ .... ]

So... you were right about the time loop thing. And it's been us all along? Screwing up.

[retellers]

... mmhm.

Still doesn't change what I said about doing better though.

[cuedoves]

I know. I don't... I don't want to dwell on our failures anymore. I just want to make things right, like you said.

But I can't help but feel like we're missing something. I don't know.

[retellers]

The punchline?

... as long as someone doesn't do something crazy and drastically fucks the numbers up, we should be fine for what we do know, at least.

[cuedoves]

That's... a pretty big relief.

But I don't know. This week was... a lot. If it's just Swan and Fox that need to go, we should be okay, but.... it depends on who gets picked.

[retellers]

... well, you guys did a good job of coordinating this week. So, hopefully whoever does it next week knows to do the same.
