[ and then swan explains the plot of season 4 episode 1 of she-ra except she can only remember the name brightmoon and no one else's-- no god i'll make a vague effort. swan looks away when she speaks, reminiscing ] Basically... The memory I had was my coronation. It brought back... some of my identity, too. I knew I was Queen of Brightmoon, leader of the rebellion. Even if I don't know what we're rebelling against. Or who else was in it with me. I know there were people now, but... I still can't remember their faces, or their names. Just that they cared about me.

[cuedoves]

At least you know you weren't alone. That's the important thing, for now.

[ the rest will come in time! but uh, royalty, war... rebellion... sounds familiar. ] And that you were doing the right thing.

... So I guess you outrank me. Since I'm a traitor prince.

[ is this. an attempt at a joke? ]

[ zuko is trying and it makes her smile, so. ] Mmm. Nope! I don't recognize your father's authority over his kingdom, so you're the highest ranking royalty from the Fire Nation to me.

[ laughs a little ]

I'm actually kind of fighting against my own kingdom? So we're both royalty in a rebellion.

[retellers]

But you're fighting to get it back, aren't you? And make it better.

[cuedoves]

[ bumps her shoulder lightly with his own ]

Look at us, a couple of rebels fighting for our kingdom.

[retellers]

[ she laughs a bit ] A ragtag team of rebels. You think that happens often?

[cuedoves]

No, I think we're both pretty unique.

... Though there is a lot of royalty around.

[retellers]

You think so? It feels like the right amount of royalty to me.

[cuedoves]

It's just more than I expected, I guess.

Not that it's a bad thing....

[retellers]

Maybe royalty's better at this sort of thing? [ she's kidding. mostly. ]

[cuedoves]

I guess we do already deal with a lot of murder.

[ zuko is also joking but like, it's terrible joking ]

[retellers]

[ yikes. her face. ] People are dead, Zuko.

[cuedoves]

[ he at least looks embarrassed!! ]

Well... I know I'm leading a rebellion, but I'm kind of... hoping there's less murder where I'm from?

[cuedoves]

Yeah, me too.

Uh... well, let's just say we all have to deal with difficult situations that are sometimes violent?

[ he's trying ]

[retellers]

That... I'll give you that one. It'd be great if we could fight our way out of this one.

[cuedoves]

Yeah, I'm much better at punching than I am all the... mystery stuff.... kind of wish we could just fight the thing stealing all the nova already.

[ as if it was that simple ]

No more trials, no more investigating.... just deal with it in one blow.

Did, you, uh, figure out anything more about the nova monster?

[retellers]

Not recently. It's like every time we get closer, it moves further away. It's so annoying.

[cuedoves]

But it's still stealing Nova?

[retellers]

Hmhmm. Until we stop it, I don't think it'll stop.

[cuedoves]

... Too bad we can't put a bomb in the nova. Blow it up from the inside.
