I have questions, sure, but I'm not expecting a perfect answer or even an answer at all. You're learning at about the same pace we are, aren't you? To be perfectly honest, I'm used to not understanding most of what I'm doing and just finding my answers along the way.

Hey. No apologizing for my apology. That doesn't work. [he's kind of joking but also fox no...]

...so many of you are losing your powers and protection from the Realm. Guess I'm just worried. [a beat.] Don't bother telling me not to be. I'm going to anyway.

[retellers]

[ a light laugh ]

Then I suppose we're at a standstill.

Guess we are. [but he doesn't like it and it's visibly noticeable.] ...does it bother you when people say stuff like that?

[why are y'all so resistant to this.]

I don't think you'll be satisfied with any answer I have, so perhaps we should move on. 𝅘𝅥𝅮

If you say so. [a pause.] Maybe you should pick the subject then?

Hm... well, how are things going between you and Clementine?

[ said cheerfully. ]

[reconnective]

[kill him. mostly because he suddenly startles and knocks his sandal off of the dock into the water.

it floats sadly.]

Wh--how do you even know about that?

[ fox gets down and, however awkwardly with a cast, tries to retrieve it from the water. ]

You're not that subtle in public.

[the sandal floats back toward them which means sora will take it from fox and set it aside. please sit down and rest fox.]

Really? Because it sure surprised me.

[retellers]

[ no, they're standing back up. ]

Well, this kind of thing is sometimes more obvious from an outsider's perspective.

Apparently I was the last person to know. [so that's nice.] But you probably observe a lot about people without us noticing, don't you?

It's nice to get out once in a while.

That's good. [staring at the water.] ...usually when we get to new worlds, the first thing that happens is we run into someone who's in trouble. We talk, we become friends, and we work together to fix everything.

You...are sometimes a hard person to read. [it's not really a bad thing but he's also so dumb, he knows not what to do.]

Is that on purpose? Or are we all just really, really bad at this?

The latter. [he tilts his head back to look at fox.] People who're doing it on purpose don't actually ask.

[ again, a light laugh ]

It's probably a bit of both, to be honest. It's good to have a bit of mystery. ♥

Yeah? I'm not really that good at being mysterious. [or subtle. or tactful. or a lot of words similar to that.]

Is it a mystery that's ever meant to be solved, you think?
