...I don't exactly remember now, but I left my island and ended up in another world with the Keyblade. I got separated from Riku and Kairi, but when I met Donald and Goofy they told me they were looking for the Key, too. So we traveled together while trying to find our friends and getting rid of the Heartless that were trying to destroy all kinds of worlds. And then we defeated Xehanort's Heartless who wanted to open the Door to Darkness.
That wasn't the end of it. That was just the first part.
