Oh, you answered.

[ she absolutely brought the baking, perish. she's even making sure they take it. no is not an acceptable answer today. ]

First of all - are you okay? It looked like running into that barrier hurt.

[ they could eat it. it's mocha almond cake. it's goooood. ]

You think. [ ... well. at least they know not to run full pelt into the barrier. ]

Yesterday there was a lot of talk about disturbances and consequences... there were a couple of things I wanted to check, now it's not so -- [ she waves a hand ] -- manic.

Did we pass out because the Realm made us? And if the Realm made us pass out... why? Because it sensed someone was going to kill, or as a failsafe to try and stop it when it felt the disturbance? [ she's trying to figure out how much of this is being influenced by them, and how much by the Realm. As much as she can, even if it means having to ask some questions that don't have answers yet. ]

I'm not sure the timelines match up if that was the case, but... I'd like to know. If you're able to tell me.

[ will the outside influence make wolf eat their cake? ]

...

So there's a chance something else is messing around with everything here, and ... wait, was the disturbance linked to Virid killing Hajime, or is that still a mystery?

...

So if weโ€™re working with the still-very-vague chance there was an outside influence here... that could have created a disturbance and then Virid committing murder made the Realm go into some kind of extreme safeguard mode?

[ with them trapped inside...?

also: WOLF your CAKE ]

Possibly?

[ wolf is (?)trying ]

...

He said he got his memories back, but how could he have known that would happen beforehand? It can't have been the motive...?

[ ... she didn't know him well at all, it's true. ]

Alright.

Would he have told someone who gave him that idea, though...?

[personal profile] chanteuser 2020-10-05 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
... Right. I guess it's time to ask people to really think back through their memories before this place takes that knowledge from them.

[ ... she just looks at them. ]

...

You look like you want to run away.

Power walk in the opposite direction, then.

... I'm not going to ask you for a hug, don't worry.

[ wolf. WOLF. you're so awkward. ]

I figured. Like I said, I'm not asking, so you can relax a bit? [ she'll even take a step back? proof she's not going to latch onto them? ]

[personal profile] chanteuser 2020-10-06 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You're being really insistent about it?

I was just saying Iโ€™m not about to suddenly run at you, or hug you or something. [ unclench? ] Itโ€™s just a thrown out there example.

Because you look like you want to crawl out a window.

[ she just sighs ]

Alright, Iโ€™ll take a hint. [ she points at the cake, which i hope wolf is still holding in the most awkward way possible. ] If you donโ€™t like it, Rabbit might take it from you.

Thanks for talking with me.

[ and then i guess sheโ€™ll leave and let wolf not-run-or-power-walk off. ]
